The Pisstakers is a multi-faceted humor blog covering web, tech, world news and quirky stories.

The term Pisstaker has nothing to do with urine, but everything to do with Ed's articles that are somewhat cynical, sarcastic and humorous. For the purists, content is based on genuine events and topics and never strays too far from the truth.

If you destroyed the whole Pisstaker part of the website you would be left with a section called Ed's personal blog spot. If you read closely you will work out what I am like. If you can't be bothered to analyse folks from what they write, here is a bit About Me.

I use my personal blog space for therapeutic blogging purposes. ie 12 months ago I didn't know a blog from a clog, so occasionally I like to share the exciting developments of blogging, designing, SEO, spikes and plummets in traffic. Yes, jaded folks, it is exciting being a 7 month old blogger, and I think it is good to share in those spills and thrills. Please do not consider any perceived over-enthusiasm as bragging!! I have other things to brag about, and a blog isn't the place!!

I have been called perceptive, an SOB, an off-the-wall thinker and idiot. You can make your mind up, if you ever read my personal thoughts on current and pressing issues. I don't say things to deliberately upset people, but I do tend to question everything, and I am not satisfied with glib answers like tradition, or society says so...

Very often only those who have traveled to faraway places and had some really dire life experiences (and come out smiling and philosophical at the end of it), get where my opinions are coming from. I salute you, and I hope the closed or made-up minds out there don't hate me or any challenging viewpoints - too much! 14 year old mothers is just one example of what seems to me to be a good idea - in certain cultures.

I also promote bloggers of all persuasion, especially the amusing ones! Rather than boring blogrolls (or 1-link wonders), I aim to do meaningful, content-rich reviews of blogs and websites. I try to to be accurate and respectful, but the underlying tone is light and occasionally no punches are pulled when criticisms are deserved. Just think of the link love if these critical bits get on your goat! Or write a bad review of The Pisstakers to even the score.

All content falls under Creative Commons satire and parody, so should be taken with a pinch of salt by lawyers - and never taken by any lazy bloggers without giving some sort of recognition of our work at time of plagiarism.

The Pisstakers is a blogging empire in progress As of April 2007 I have logged over 700 posts. The aim is to build up readership and kudos and Google PR before opening the doors to other writers willing to participate in and benefit from the fruits of a happening satirical blog.

Watch this space in November 2007 to see how we will maintain the current look and feel of The Pisstakers while monetizing the site. It promises to be a PR5/10,000 uniques a month blog presented with panache and elegance - a refelction of Ed? No. A reflection of the designer, Bonsai Studio!
