The term Pisstaker has nothing to do with urine, but everything to do with Ed's cynicism, sarcasm and attempts at humor. I'm a Brit by birth so I tend to be a bit dry and obscure, sorry if you don't get it!

If you aren't quite sure how to take the posts here, rest assured, content is based on genuine events and topics and never strays too far from the truth.

Posts in Ed's personal blog spot should enable you to work out what I am like as a person. However, if you can't be bothered to analyse me from what I write, what follows is a bit About Me.

I have been called perceptive, an SOB, an off-the-wall thinker and more often that not, an obscure idiot. You can make your mind up about which category you think I suit best. Bottom line, I don't say things to deliberately upset people, but I do tend to question everything that goes on around me, and if something doesn't add up, I am not satisfied with glib answers like tradition, or society says so...

Very often only those who have traveled to faraway places and / or experienced some really dire life experiences (and come out smiling and philosophical at the end of it), get where my opinions are coming from. I salute you, and I hope the closed minded or intransigents out there don't hate me or any of my challenging viewpoints - too much!

I promote bloggers of all persuasion, especially the amusing ones! Convention says, if you have a sidebar, use it! so i have blogrolls and links to humor, tech and general interest sites, communities and all that good stuff that makes the internet a big happy family.

I have also written loads of content-rich reviews of blogs and websites where I try to to be accurate and respectful, with an underlying tone that is light and vaguely droll. I haven't seen too many reviews of The Pisstakers, although this pile of tripe certainly caught the eye of a few of my fans.

All content falls under Creative Commons satire and parody, so should be taken with a pinch of salt by lawyers - and never taken by any lazy bloggers without giving some sort of recognition of our work at time of plagiarism.

The Pisstakers is a blogging empire in progress My original aim was to build up readership and kudos and Google PR before opening the doors to other writers willing to participate in and benefit from the fruits of a happening satirical blog.

I have achieved one milestone, a PR5/10,000 uniques a month blog but I think the guest writer thing is too hard to pull off right now, Hell, even I have trouble posting here regularly!

And this is the sort of music I like, except that Cohen guy who needs a good dose of humor.
