More people died in the First Great War than in any other conflict in history, but this unhappy death stat was not enough for some. (Quirky)

quote-of-the-day
Driver is banned for going 160mph. Judge: You are so irresponsible, driving your car as fast as it will go. Driver: That isn't as fast as it will go, I've had 180 out of it before (True story from UK) (Daily quote.)

Driving around you see all sorts of sights on the road.

We have all killed a deer or a dog or a cat whilst speeding around in our car, right? No? Well, plenty of people do, intentionally, or otherwise. As usual, someone thinks of a weird angle and releases a recipe book specialising in dishes made from road kill victims. Pheasant a la ferrari, duck a l'orange honda, Chevy cat pie... gross but almost true.

Fed-Ex and UPS compete with the US Postal Service. Talk about unfair competition between drivers. Being a government entity, posties are immune from prosecution from double parking. Fed Ex and UPS enjoy no such luck. Double parked delivery trucks generate loads of revenue for city halls, and rack up major overheads for Fed-Ex and UPS.

Our advice is for UPS and Fed Ex to deliver parcels and packages to city halls on foot. They will never get complaints from lazy ass officials about late mail. In fact they may even get a pat on the back for providing them with a ready made excuse for their innate inefficiency.
