Youtube will kill Revver. Time to jump ship?

Since Google bought Youtube, 1.6 billion words have been written on ways for Google to earn money from on-line videos. The answer finally surfaced on Digg rip-off Netscape. Sharing ad revenue with video uploaders. Der, two things of note here.
4 Netscape members voted on the biggest story to hit on-line video in years - go Netscape, go!
And two, what were journalists doing, writing millions of words of conjecture, when three words, "copy Revver model" would have sufficed? Or are another 1.6 billion characters going to say this ad revenue-sharing model isn't a viable paradigm for Google to earn their money back many times over from Youtube?
We have been quite vocal in our support for classy Revver. The presentation is top notch, the business model is very fair... but just like 200 other companies in the on-line video game, Revver don't have the traffic nor the servers to match Youtube.
The power struggle between Revver v Youtube is so out of balance that on-line video is almost Apple v Microsoft-like. But just as Apple do well, thank you very much, as massive underdogs, we think minnows, Revver, have a niche to exploit too.
Take a look and tell us we don't have a really neat and unique collection of cartoons to show off. Quality resolution, funny material, constantly updated and the slickest lightbox presentation possibly on the internet. And as hosts of the videos, we do make a 20% cut of advertising revenue.
So let's re-group, accept that Youtube's general video material is the easiest to use and the best served, and make the best use of Revver's niche advantage with cartoon collections. Afterall, The Pisstakers are no Onion, so sticking with the little guys should not cause any working environment issues for our mini staff.

Time to leave Revver and head for Youtube?
